Description

Welcome to my auctions....check out the other vinyl listed, more added each week and follow me so you don't miss out.

My dad was a private collector, he collected thousands and thousands of records from 1950's to early 2000's, many are rarities, obscurities and some are unique, I am not a dealer, just selling the collection now he is unable to do so himself.

You can expect great service/fast dispatch/super strong packaging/combined shipping and honest, no nonsense gradings BUT Please read descriptions.

Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin 3 - Plum and Orange Atlantic Labels - Stereo - Super Rare Earliest 1st UK Pressing - Extremely Rare LP Issued with earliest Matrix Endings - Earliest Labels with the 'Peter Grant' Credits - 'DO WHAT THOU WILT' and 'SO MOTE IT BE' etched in runout grooves - Nice Used Vinyl + Nice Original Sleeve with fully working wheel

2401 002

1970

2401002 A-5 DO WHAT THOU WILT (all etched) (1 4 1 stamped)
2401002 B-5 SO MOTE IT BE (all etched) (1 3 stamped)

Side 1 just has a handful of very faint and fine hairline/scratches and four small scratches and a couple of very faint scuffs, apart from those there are just some sleeve removal marks under strong artificial light. Side 2 has a handful of scratches, a couple of faint surface scuffs and a couple of faint whispy hairlines and some extremely faint sleeve removal marks under strong artificial light. Nothing that can be felt. Both sides look generally very clean and shiny. A Nice used example with great audio, playtested below.

Playtested and there are no skips, sticks or jumps on my deck. The audio is superb, strong and vibrant with no lessing in quality.Plays with some background/static during quiet parts. Some clicks here and there, but overall a Great listen if you don't mind a bit of light background. Stored for 40+ years so will benefit from a proper clean.

Labels both have signs of play (spiders legs) under strong light, Both labels are clean, no damage or writing...see photos

Original Earliest Laminated Gatefold Wheel Sleeve is in Nice Used Condition. The front and back of sleeve show only light rubbing to each face, with some tiny creases from spine edge and couple of creases near corners, a few laminated line creases front and back. Back has some creasing near opening edge and light discolouration. Some corner wear. Wear to opening edge (mainly on back). Spine is solid and still fully readable. Top and bottom edge have light wear. Inside is crisp, clean and unworn with a bit of discolouration. Inside opening edge has a bit of wear where the two parts had stuck at some point...see photos...This is a Nice used Example of this sleeve with fully working wheel.

A Mega Rare and Very hard to find LP.

I will describe any flaws such as wear to sleeves, scuffs, marks or scratches to vinyl and describe them honestly, if you expect a better condition than I have listed then you need to learn to read. I will grade based on visual inspection under artificial light. PLEASE remember this is Vinyl...even brand new vinyl can have clicks and pops...that's part of its charm...if you want perfect audio without background noise...how about CD's or MP3's?
