Description
Welcome to my auctions....The time has come to sell my huge record collection over the next weeks/months...so check out my other vinyl listed, more added each week.
I am a private collector, selling my collection, I am not a dealer. Due to poor hearing, The record is sold as visually inspected so please base your bidding solely on this not what it might sound/play like. Even the most visually stunning record can have background noise, if you want perfect audio then please find another copy with audio gradings.
Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin III (3) - Red and Plum Atlantic Labels - Stereo - 1970 - Early UK Pressing - Highly Sought After
2401 002
1970
2401002 A-5 DO WHAT THOU WILT (all etched)
2401002 B-5 SO MOTE IT BE (all etched)
The record has a nice shine but there are a number of surface scratches and a few light hairlines on both sides, one can be slightly felt but it is unknown how it will play. There are extremely light sleeve removal traces as well under very strong artificial light. A lot of these heavy weight old vinyls have deep grooves and play very well with marks but it is sold as visually described and bidding should be based only on that not how it may play.
Labels are clean and bright and only slight signs of being played under strong light (spiders legs)...see photos
Laminated Gatefold Sleeve with Fully Working Wheel is flat and clean on the front and back and inside, Corners and spine have no real wear and there is hardly any rubbing/ringwear to front and back. The front has some laminate creasing from spine edge. The wheel is fully working. Bottom edge has some wear, top edge is wear free. Spine is fully readable and crisp, Back has a few horizontal laminate creases. Front/back and inside have hardly any discolouration. Inside on left hand side there is a cut from top edge about 3 inches long, A really nice example ...See Photos
Has original poly lined inner, generally clean and flat with, no splits or damage.
A Very Rare LP, Etched Runouts, Highly Sought After.
I will describe any flaws such as wear to sleeves, scuffs, marks or scratches to vinyl and describe them honestly, if you expect a better condition than I have listed then you need to learn to read. I will grade based on visual inspection under artificial light. PLEASE remember this is Vinyl...even brand new vinyl can have clicks and pops...that's part of its charm...if you want perfect audio without background noise...how about CD's or MP3's? Due to my poor hearing, The record is sold as visually inspected so please base your bidding solely on this, in the event that a record may not play well or have background noise no refund will be given because I have no way of verifying and as such, if you place a bid you are acknowledging this
