M (Mint) - perfect, or unplayed record NM (Near Mint) - 9/10 EX  (Excellent) Only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will please all but the most demanding collector VG+ (Very Good+) There will be signs of wear and the possibility a few skuffs and/or light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still very nice

VG (Very Good) Noticeable wear and marks and usually has surface noise, still plays great

G  (Good)   In the record world, "Good" is FAR FROM good! Now we're talking about bashed-up records!
