Description
This is a copy of the LP Led Zeppelin III by Led Zeppelin, early UK pressing from 1970 on Atlantic 2401002.
The etched matrix no.s are 2401002 A 6 OP (followed by, what looks like, an arrow) 1 1 do what though wilt and 2401002 B - 5 GLIC 1 1 so mote it be
The vinyl is in Very Good Plus condition. There are one or two faint scuffs and, what I can only describe as, a faint stain on Side Two. This is a mark going across the record but there doesn't appear, under a magnifying glass, to be any groove damage. It looks like something has been left resting on it. In the photo it can be faintly seen as a splodge just left of center. The record plays with no clicks, pops or jumps but there is mild background noise noticeable (more on the first few minutes of each side) in quieter moments. The record still has a bright shine to it. The labels are spotless with no stickers, spindle marks, stains, writing, or scuffs.
The fully laminated gatefold cover is in Excellent condition. There are no tears, stains, ring wear, shelf wear, stickers. splits or writing.The spine is perfectly legible with no damage. There is just some very faint ageing / browning starting to appear down the edges on the rear. The cardboard feels as crisp and sharp as the day it left the printers. The wheel moves freely
The original white poly-lined paper inner sleeve just has a few minor handling creases. There is a date code on it of 0970 indicating September 1970.
Comes from a smoke free home.
