Original red & plum Atlantic issue LP, the laminated gatefold cover is in excellent condition, with some light rubbing around the corners, with some wrinkles in the laminate of the front cover (see pics). The spine is intact and fully readable and the wheel id intact and fully working. The company inner is intact and in excellent condition, (see pics).
The record is in visually very good+ condition with some evidence of being played, including quite a few light hair line marks visible under bright light from being removed from its sleeve & several light needle marks & scuffs. The labels are clean with evidence of a few spindle markings, overall the record still retains much of its original sheen and looks good!
The sound reproduction is very good, clear & vibrant throughout, with definately no loud, crackle, hiss, skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some background noise on the run ins and inbetween some tracks, it definately still plays much better than it looks!! The matrix nos. are 2401-002, A-7 mother stampers 1-1-5, B-5 mother stampers 1-5-1-6, this is one of the very early pressings with the hand etched "Do what thou wilt...So mote it be" text on the inner rim, only found on the original UK stereo issue of this album!!
