Description
LED ZEPPELIN ORIGINAL CINEMA POSTER FROM 1976
This is one of the best concert films of the 1970's and captures the greatest rock band's electrifying performance at Madison Square Gardens in 1973.
For those of you who have seen this film will know that it largely dealt with the fantasies and inner thoughts of the band members, such as Jimmy Page-Warlock etc,Robert Plant-Arthurian character etc,John Paul Jones-the man with two faces;the Scarecrow horseman etc,John Bonham-Moby Dick, cars etc,Peter Grant and Richard Cole-gangsters.So it is very interesting that some of these fantasies are interpreted in this poster.
40 ins x 30 ins
A VERY RARE AND SOUGHT AFTER ORIGINAL POSTER ESPECIALLY WITH THE RECENT ZEPPELIN PUBLICITY
MANY YEARS AGO I ACQUIRED 6 OR 7 ORIGINAL CINEMA POSTERS,THIS IS THE FIRST TO BE LISTED
CONDITION
Being not used to selling posters, therefore i do not know how to grade them. So i will best describe how i see it.....If it was based on the condition of the picture itself i would say it was Superb, especially for a 30 yr old.The colours are very vibrant for a poster this old.But then i suppose the difficult part are the folds. Please look at the pic yourself.I have even taken a pic of the worse part of any of the folds (small hole, pic 2).Some blemishes on the rear of the poster.I have described this as best as i can,so please get in touch if any further info required.I will even take closer pics for you if you give me an e mail address, thank you.
THIS POSTER DOESENT LOOK AS IF IT HAS EVER BEEN USED (cant swear to it, but no real marks at the corners,).IT HAS BEEN STORED IN THIS FOLDED CONDITION IN MY BEDROOM FOR YEARS.
