PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS AND READ THE ENTIRE ITEM DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY!
***The vinyl has several surface marks that run with the grooves and cause a "squeal" when the needle passess over it. There is at least one of these marks on each of the 4 sides (see the last 4 pictures, I tried to photograph them). If not for these several spots the LPs would be graded higher.***
Up for sale is one (1) Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti 2LP from 1975 on Swan Song Records (#SS 2-200). First pressing with NO BARCODE.
INCLUDES A BLACK and WHITE PHOTOCOPY OF THE HYPE STICKER CUT TO ACTUAL SIZE! I like to add a PHOTOCOPY of the hype sticker, if I have it, as an added bonus as they are usually discarded and are hard to find.
COMPLETE COPY WITH FOLDOVER INSERT and BOTH CUSTOM INNER SLEEVES.
PLAY TESTED! I RECENTLY PLAYED THIS LP AND IT SOUNDS GREAT! (except for the few squeals)
The Vinyl is in Good+ condition, but has some surface marks that WILL cause surface noise typical with a Good+ grading. Even with a Good+ grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. Certainly more noticible during the quiet parts.
The die-cut cover is in Good+ condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, crumples, scrapes, dings and ring wear all of which are typical. There are No Split Seams. However, there is a stress point on the bottom seam that may lead to a split seam someday. And there is some fraying along the top opening and around some of the "windows".
This cover typically doesn't age well because of all the moving parts, but this one is in decent shape.
Nice fairly clean labels with some spindle marks.
The custom foldover inner insert is in Good+ condition with typical wear from age. There is a small split seam at the bottom foldover point that was "repaired" with scotch tape many years ago.
The custom inner sleeves are in Good+ condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, and ring wear. There are 2 Split Seams on each of the inner sleeves that were "repaired" with scotch tape many years ago.
I obtained this LP in the 1970's. It was gently played many times back in the day. It has not been played in over 30 years.
