Description
Japanese 1st pressing of the 1975 classic licensed by Swansong Records to Warner Brorther/Pioneer. Japanese pressings are valued for the high quality and consistency of reproduction and are next to, if not equal to, the first pressing of the country of origin. They are also collectible for the 'obi' strip, the wrap-around on the sleeve carrying translated details of the record and the lyric and biography sheets found inside.
This edition is rarely found in the UK, with the 1st press blue obi strip, picture sleeves and 4 page lyric inner. The heavy card outer is the same as the UK version, with window cut-outs to display the co-ordinated inner sleeve images through the windows.
Condition overall is at least Ex; Sleeve- Heavy card with only slight creasing at 2 corners to detract, no scuffing or discolouration.
Obi- Intact, no discoloration, just one tiny tear of about 3mm at bottom right. immaculateotherwise no tears or creases.
Inner sleeves- Only tiny crease at corners and small top edge wear on one sleeve.
Vinyl- Barely discernible spindle trace, i.e. just one mark on each label, side 1 and 2 but all 4 vinyl surfaces look immaculate.
