Welcome to another rare item up for auction. I will be offering extremely rare vinyl LPs such as this one. Please take a look at my other listings. I will try to describe the condition of these extremely rare pressings, but please feel free to contact me if you have any additional questions. I understand that vinyl collectors are very particular and need a lot of specific information before purchasing/investing in recordings. I will do my best, with limited photographs, to explain the condition of each item in as much detail as possible.

Up for sale is an extremely rare Led Zeppelin UNITED STATES vinyl test pressing of Led Zeppelin's 1975 double album Physical Graffiti on blank label. It contains no detail on Catalogue number, title or artist. These LPs are contained in individual paper sleeves on either side of a blank gatefold cover. The LPs themselves are in Mint- condition. The labels on the LPs state "Test pressing" and "Presswell Records." Each is hand-numbered from 1 to 4. Inscribed in the run-off of each disc, in ascending order, are the following matrix numbers and other letters and numbers:

Test pressings are very limited runs, and many times contain different mixes to songs than what is commercially released. I have two test pressings up for sale at this time and believe that a few of the songs are mixed differently, but I'm not sure. I believe I've listened to this test pressing only once when I purchased it 15 years ago.

The condition of the LPs is Mint- condition. I have not treated either LP with any type of vinyl cleaner, which would brighten the overall look of the vinyl. Both sides of these LPs are in excellent condition. There are very few minor smudges -- nothing that would affect the playing condition of the vinyl. There is a possible slight scratch on the portion that would be "Sick Again," but it is barely noticeable. Given how beautiful this looks and how extremely rare it is, it would be a great addition to anyone's collection.

Please note there is no specific album cover to this test pressing. It is a plain white gatefold LP cover with handwritten notes indicating the LP's identity. This has been in my collection for many, many years and is truly an extremely rare Led Zeppelin vinyl item.
