Description
Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti
(Swan Song SSK 89400 UK Double LP 1975)
This is a very early UK Double LP pressing. It has a die-cut matt sleeve. This has the "484 Kings Rd., London..." address on the rear. It has a gatefold card insert which has the track details printed on it. It has picture inner sleeves which are printed on thick. There is also a plain paper "inner" inner sleeve.
The records have A/ B/ C/ D matrix stampers. "E.G." is also etched in the dead wax. The labels have the "Warner" logo on them.
Sleeve: There is a small 2 cm tear at one die-cut window on the rear sleeve. Otherwise some mild rubbing wear to some of the edges. VG condition.
Vinyl 1: Light to mild sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light, & a couple of light, but long, hairline marks. VG condition. The labels are nice and clean & show mild spindle wear. Plays VG+ to near Excellent. Very well indeed. The inner sleeve has some very light rubbing wear. It is in EX condition. There are no seam splits.
Vinyl 2: Light sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light, & one light hairline mark. There are some mild pressing marks too. VG+ condition. The labels are very nice and clean & show very mild spindle wear. Plays Near Excellent to Excellent. Very well indeed. The inner sleeve is in EX+ condition. There are no seam splits.
The gatefold card insert is in Near EX condition. There is some very mild fading only.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
