Led Zeppelin Presence LP UK 1st Issue - Superb Press 160 Grams [Ex+/Ex+]

Description

An original 1st issue of Presence on the UK Swan label from '76. Matrix A2/B2. Etching "Atlantic Studios". Please note this copy is genuine '76 as the labels mention 'Made In The UK' and NOT "manufactured" as they would do a couple of years later. This example is hands-down the heaviest copy I've ever witnessed at 160 grams [I had no idea they even made them that heavy in '76!]. The vinyl comes housed in an original embossed non-laminated gatefold cover - per the very 1st issue. You will note many different variations on-line as the record company struggled to try and make the bands name stand out properly. But on a genuine 1st issue it is embossed in the top-right corner and is very hard to actually make out. We have taken a close up pick in order to highlight this. Also included is the original inner sleeve with side-opening. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen the lightest use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of very light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are pretty much silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Probably the last great Zep album and it sounds fantastic - don't think you will ever find another copy like this..it is very unusual from a number of angles. All we could detect were a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments , and one very slight tick as 'Nobody's Fault..' closes out. A beautifully clean rendition with nothing to find fault with. 
Cover (Ex+) Truly one of THE most difficult covers out there to find in top condition and this example is nothing short of stunning. Super clean front and back without a whiff of the ageing process. The interior is immaculate - not a whiff of ageing at all. Edge wear is pretty much totally absent and the openings are still sharp. The spine is totally intact with all text perfectly legible. Overall the cover retains perfect rigidity. FINAL UPGRADE.
Inner (Ex+) No splits. No ageing. Superb!!
