Led Zeppelin Presence LP UK 1st Press - Great Audio [Ex+/Vg+]

Description

An original 1st press of Presence on the UK Swan label from '76. Matrix A1/B2. Please note this copy is genuine '76 as the labels mention 'Made In The UK' and NOT "manufactured" as they would do a couple of years later. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original embossed non-laminated gatefold cover - per the very 1st issue. You will note many different variations on-line as the record company struggled to try and make the bands name stand out properly. But on a genuine 1st issue it is embossed in the top-right corner and is very hard to actually make out. We have taken a close up pick in order to highlight this. Also included is the original inner sleeve with side-opening. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen the lightest use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are pretty much silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. All we could detect were a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments. A beautifully clean rendition with precious little to find fault with. FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Vg+) In great shape and is looking better than most examples that surface. Nice clean front with just a touch of ageing right over against the spine edge. the rear looks good too - just a couple of tiny spots in the bottom right sector. The interior is immaculate - no signs of ageing at all. Edge wear is very light and the openings are still sharp. The spine is intact, but it has aged a fair bit. The text is still more or less legible. Overall the cover retain excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) A one inch side split. Nothing else really worthy of note.
