Description

A 1st issue of Presence from the time of release in 1976 on the UK Swan label. Matrix A1/B2. The labels states 'Made in UK' - which verifies a 1976 1st issue. The vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold with the band name and album title embossed in the top-right. It is difficult to make out unless you look at the close-up shot. The record company were not happy about the lack of visibility and tried a number of variations on later reissues to remedy this. Only a true 1st issue is embossed in this way along with the swan song logo on the rear. Also included is the original textured inner sleeve.
Vinyl (Ex+) In absolutely superb condition and has clearly only seen very light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of very light marks - nothing remotely troubling though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are very quiet and the audio comes across with tremendous clarity and very little interference at all. I don't recall more than a couple of isolated crackles the whole way through. Almost no potential for upgrade on the audio side - a truly superb copy.
Cover (Ex-) This LP is notoriously difficult to find in anything approaching excellent condition due to it being both white and unlaminated. The only vaguely noticeable deterioration is the lightest of ageing around the edges..but even this is quite minor. Edge wear is minimal and the interior is immaculate. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent condition and really is very well preserved.
Inner (Ex) No splits. A couple of light smudges that really is all.
