A rare Russian collector’s item for the completest.
Unlike today a few years back the Russians had to produce products using recycled material and occasionally they would use Ex war army/navy surplus,
This Led Zeppelin sleeve is produced from an ex submarine map which makes it most unusual. ( now I say submarine map based on the occasional “ surface” of these sleeves with maps on being always described as used by Russian sub mariners but with a lack of knowledge regarding the Russian language I cannot totally guarantee that this was used on a sub carrying nuclear warheads but if the others are all submarine maps this should be) please see pics.
The record looks unplayed
The sound is excellent with occasionally light static ticks only on quite spots
The sleeve is a recycled map and it has fantastic Russian writing and the unique map ( poss one of a kind )
