Hello, thanks for looking. I'm no expert on grading vinyl, i'll try my best to evaluate the condition of both the cover and the album. I'll use the grading scale below as a guide and i'll be very conservative with my evaluation.

You are bidding on a used copy of Led Zeppelin I  It was released on 12 January 1969 in the United States and on 31 March in the United Kingdom by Atlantic Records. I'm not sure what pressing this is, I'll the matrix code i found in the run off below.  Please message me with any questions.

CONDITION: Jacket: G / Vinyl: VG

The Jacket / Sleeve: I'm hoping the pictures can speak for the grade, i'd say its a G. It's Sold, and still very stiff,  has 1 inch Seam Splitting on the top and bottom, No writing anywhere, No bends or creases, No cut-out (drill) holes or cut-out corners or saw-marks or indents, The corners are in ok shape there's a little wear and rounding which you can see in the pictures, The Front and Back have no burn caused by rubbing against other covers, No Record Ring or Halo, No yellowing from aging, The spine is in good shape, the top and bottom edges have some fraying or chipping (see photo), The top has a hole (see photo)

Inner Paper Sleeve:  It's the original paper record Atlantic AD sleeve - Small tear in the upper corner (See Photo) 

The vinyl: VG. The record looks good, few tiny surface scratches nothing crazy. There's a small tear in the label on side 2 (see photo)

All records are shipped with USPS media mail, properly packed in a 12" cardboard record mailer (with the record out of the jacket).

Grading Scale

Mint (M): Perfect, unused in sealed original packaging.

Near-Mint (NM): Close to perfect with no visible scratches or scuffs. Appears to be un-played or played less than 5 times.

Excellent (EX): May contain very light surface scratches and/or scuffs. Label and jacket may show slight signs of ring-wear / lightly bent corners. No creases, writing, tears or rips.

Very Good Plus (VG+): May show some signs that it was played and handled by a previous owner who took reasonably good care of it. Imperfections are cosmetic and do not drastically impact the playback. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs and surface scratches. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are ok. The label and jacket may have some slight ring ring-wear, discoloration, minor tears and imperfections. As with most vinyl, there may be low-level surface noise and light crackles and pops may be present, especially during quiet or soft passages in the track.  

Very Good (VG): Many of the imperfections found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG record or sleeve.

Good (G) - It doesn't mean the record is "Trashed" but its definitely been played a lot. I'll mainly use this for jackets and inner sleeves (if the record is worth selling).

Fair (F) Poor (P): I do not sell Poor (P), Fair (F). If I use these it's because the album is super rare.

I do not grade LPs and I am not an expert on classification.
