Led Zeppelin The Song Remains the Same Classic Records 200 gram audiophile 2 LP.
The sleeve is in NM- condition save for the seam split/tear to the top of the gatefold sleeve, as shown in the photographs. The booklet inside the gatefold sleeve is firmly attached. The custom black inner sleeves are intact with no seam splits. The records are stored in white paper sleeves to prevent damage to the custom inner sleeves.
The records are in NM- condition. I play graded the entire album, and heard a few small clicks and pops during the fade out of “The Rain Song” at the end of side one, and during the lead in grooves and the grooves between songs elsewhere. Otherwise, the 200 gram vinyl is flat, glossy, and scratch free, and plays strong and clean. This record sounds like what you would expect an audiophile record to sound like. John Bonham’s drums in particular stand out on this pressing. Like the other Classic Led Zeppelin pressings I have recently listed on eBay, this album came from the collection of a fastidious audiophile who took care of his records.
