Description

Led Zeppelin - II

(Atlantic 588198 UK LP 1969)

This is a UK original 1969 LP pressing. It has a heavyweight matt gatefold sleeve which has a lighter brown colouration. It comes with its original polythene lined company inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has red & maroon "Atlantic"  labels & has A-2/ B-4 matrix stampers. It has the "Livin' Lovin' Maid" song credit on Side 1. It has the "Killing Floor" credit on Side 2's label.

Gatefold Sleeve: There is some moderate to considerable rubbing wear to the corner tips, top & bottom edges. There is some more moderate rubbing wear to one spine edge. There is light or very mild rippling at the front sleeve opening area. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear. There are the very small remnants of a sticker in the top right corner. Good++ condition

Vinyl: There are some light, mild or more moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are about 6 light hairline surface marks. These measure from 1 cm to 6 cm in length. Good++ condition. There is a name written at the bottom of Side 1's label. Otherwise, mild spindle wear. The company inner sleeve is in VG++ condition. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear & creasing. There are no seam splits.

I have fully play tested this LP. It plays VG overall. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle noticeable in the background to a varying degree. There is some more moderate crackle on the track "Moby Dick" on Side 2. There are no noticeable loud clicks or pops. There are no jumps or sticks. Overall, it is a fairly reasonable audio copy for the condition.
