A complete set of the six different versions of the Hipgnosis designed covers for Led Zeppelin's 1979 album
In Through the Out Door records included
The sepia toned photos depict a bar seen from different angles, at different times, with different characters visible, differing amounts of bar mayhem pictures, as a man at the bar burns a letter...
there is only one of the original "brown-paper-bags" that the records came in... each album contains the inner sleeve, the moisture activated drawing of whiskey glasses and ashtrays... about half of these sleeves have been color-activated.
The covers are not split or marked-up, and they vary in the wear. 1 cover is excellent, 2 are VG+, the other 3 are VG.
on the ones that are worn, the edges and corners are rubbed. on the spines, I can see the A, the C, D, and E designation, the B and the F covers are worn at those corners of the spine.
Since I was collecting the covers, I didn't pay much attention to the records inside. When I look now, I see two VG+. 2 VG and two VG-. These last two have what looks like terrible scratches, but when I played them, they actually worked fine.
