Original 1st US pressing of Led Zeppelin’s 5th studio album “Houses of the Holy” released by Atlantic Records on March 28, 1973. This is the last Led Zeppelin’s studio album to be released on Atlantic before they switched over to their own label Swan Song Records. The currently listed copy remains factory sealed and is in pristine Mint condition. The “Houses Of The Holy” album doesn’t indicate the band’s name or the title anywhere on the cover. However, Atlantic Records added a wrap-around paper band which indicates the band name and the album title underneath the shrink wrap. The front of the cover contains an original "Led Zeppelin Houses of the Holy" song title hype sticker with the catalog number SD 7255 under the Atlantic Records fan logo located in the upper right-hand corner. The front sleeve also has a promotional "Contains the Hit Single D'yer Ma'ker" round hype sticker which also contains the “SD 7255” catalog number. Both stickers are located on the shrink wrap. While the front side of the strip contains the band name and the album title, its back side has the Atlantic Records logo with the SD 7255 catalog number. Considering that the 4-digit catalog number SD 7255 corresponds to the 1st pressing, the vinyl inside the sealed copies in most cases has the "Sterling Sound" mastering and Robert Ludwig's initials "RL" in the runout groove. “Houses Of The Holy” is the only Led Zeppelin’s album which contains the full lyrics to all of the songs printed on the white textured custom inner sleeve which you’ll find inside this factory sealed copy.
