Description

Lee Fields 12” acetate 78

Once In A Lifetime b/w You Don’t Care Recording date unknown, probably around 1950 Two great previously unissued recordings by an artist that may never got signed. This unissued demo acetate was found in 4 Star warehouse This was given to 4 Star to get a recording contract, but 4 Star didn’t like it and turned it down.  The playing grooves are in Mint- condition.

It must have stood in 4 Star studio warehouse untouched and unplayed for over 75 years.

You can hear samples of both sides taken from this 12” demo by clicking the player below-.
