NM/M- A grade I don’t usually use but I’m releasing some of my father’s “store stock” records.

E+ (78) Plays like new, with very, very few signs of handling, such as eyelash scuffs from being slipped in and out of jackets or a very small, inaudible scuff.

E  (78) Still full gloss, near new looking, with minor signs of wear, a few inaudible scuffs and/or minor label imperfection as noted in description.

.

E- (78)  Still shiny but without the lustre of a new record and/or more scuffs with a very minor click or two. Very pleasant listening experience.

V+ (78) an average condition 78 in which scuffs and general use has dulled the finish somewhat. Still retains most of the gloss. Wear is moderate but playing is free from

distortion. In some cases surface noise that is not overly pronounced. See description.

V (78)  Moderate, even wear throughout, but still very playable and enjoyable. Surface noise and scratches audible but not intrusive.

V- (78) Quite playable still, but distortion and heavy graying in loud passages. Music remains loud in most passages. Surface noise and scratches well below music level.

G+ (78). Grey throughout but still serviceable. Music begins to sound muffled. Heavy scratches.
