Lee Morgan Blue Note 1578 Deep Groove LP

LP Condition: VG+ (Close to NM)
Notes: The LP is amazing - minimal surface noise, Excellent sheen & immaculate label. The only reason it's not an NM is because of the VERY LIGHT surface noise on the lead-in grooves. The jacket is absolutely great - perfect spine, excellent seams & edges. There is 3" of light ink writing on the back top cover. This is an excellent LP in GREAT condition for it's age. It's was very obviously cared for. This is an excellent copy - you'd be hard pressed to find a comparable specimen.
Buyer to pay $5.00 for shipping and handling (more overseas). This price includes a heavy corrugated box and Priority Mail shipping via USPS. It is in my best interest to see that these records get to their buyer in the same condition that they were sent. Insurance is optional, but recommended and will be actual cost. Records will be sent in paper sleeves outside of the LP jacket. Sealed plastic sleeves will cover both record and sleeve. This LP comes from a much larger collection that will be listed in batches in the coming months. Please keep an eye on my listings. AMG Review:The trumpeter, then just 19, teams up with baritonist Pepper Adams, pianist Bobby Timmons, bassist Paul Chambers and drummer Philly Joe Jones for a particularly strong set that is highlighted by a lengthy and fiery "Night in Tunisia," "Lover Man" and a rapid rendition of "Just One of Those Things." Morgan plays remarkably well for his age (already ranking just below Dizzy Gillespie and Miles Davis), making this an essential acquisition. — Scott Yanow
