LEE MORGAN CORNBREAD Blue Note BST 84222
Up for auction is the U.S. Blue Note (Liberty) press (1967) of Lee Morgan's outstanding lp, "Cornbread". Stellar sextet date that includes Hank Mobley, Jackie McLean and Herbie Hancock. Surely one of Blue Note's finest late 60s releases.
DEAD WAX INFO: BNST - 84222 A etched on Side 1 run-out and BNST - 84222 B etched on Side 2 run-out. Both Sides have VAN GELDER stamped into the run-out. Probably a 1967 press (early Liberty). VINYL VISUAL: VG+ with minor marking.
VINYL PLAY GRADE: VG+ and could be higher if not for minor audible marking to start Side 2. Only lasts for 6 or 7 rotations, and it really is just a VERY minor ticking.
COVER VISUAL: VG with moderate general wear. Spine is very good, and their is no splitting on seams/spine.
VINYL IS STORED IN AN AUDIOPHILE RICE-PLASTIC LINED WHITE PAPER INNER.

Play grade is done on a Thorens TD 165 through Yamaha amplification and JBL reference headphones (treble set high so there will be no surprises when you get the item).
ALL ITEMS WILL BE SHIPPED WITH PROPER MAILERS AND EXTRA PADDING, PARTICULARLY AT THE CORNERS. I HAVE MADE FAR TOO MANY PURCHASES ON EBAY WHERE THE ITEM HAS ARRIVED WITH DINGED CORNERS DUE TO INADEQUATE PACKAGING MATERIAL. BY USING FOLDED BUBBLE WRAP IN ALL FOUR CORNERS, YOU CAN BE ASSURED OF AN ITEM WITHOUT DINGED CORNERS (OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND FOR THAT MATTER). Non-tracked shipping throughout the U.S.A will be $13 CANADIAN per item, as will tracked shipping within Canada. Tracked shipping to the U.S.A. will be $16 CANADIAN for items under 500g, and slightly more for items over 500g. Most single sleeve items can be shipped as under 500g. Gatefolds and multi-sets will be over 500g.
Being a reasonable person, I will be absorbing ALL of the shipping material cost, and some of the actual postage cost.
If you have issue with an item, PLEASE work with me to achieve an outcome that will be to your satisfaction. I do offer full refunds (excluding cost to get it back to me), on any item that is not satisfactory. SINCE SHIPPING OUTSIDE OF NORTH AMERICA IS RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE (Thank You Canada Post), I will rarely list gatefolds or multi-items for sale overseas. IF ANYONE OUTSIDE OF NORTH AMERICA IS CRAZY INTERESTED IN ANY ITEM, I WILL QUOTE SHIPPING ON REQUEST. Since a lot of the stuff that I will be selling is of higher end quality, rarely will things be offered overseas. Sorry folks. Again, I can consider requests on an item-by-item basis.
