Blue Note BLP 4157
Original USA mono pressing.
Record has the New York USA labels and Van Gelder stamps in the run out on both sides, but not the Plastylite 'ear' (P) stamps.
This dates it to late 1966 or early 1967 just after Blue Note was taken over by Liberty Records and stopped using the Plastylite pressing plant, but was still using the existing label, cover and inner sleeve stock. Comes with '27 Years Blue Note 1939-1966' inner sleeve, which is the correct inner for a pressing from that period.
Record condition: EX Full shine with just a few soft surface scuffs. Clean labels. Plays clear and crisp throughout, sounds fantastic.
Cover condition: VG+ Very nice looking cover with just a few minor issues. 1 cm crack in the slick at the centre of spine (not an outright split through the card), print still mostly visible. There is a name written on the front, but in a relatively dark area (top right, in the trumpet bell) so doesn't detract too much. Slight ring wear.
Inner sleeve has split seams.
