Description

One of the really heaviest 12"45rpm to come out of the Black Ark :

LEE PERRY "City too hot" Scratch felt at the time that too much pressure was around him at the Ark... "too much things a gwaan, too much heat a clap, the city red hot" as he said. Seems that some parasites were around. Scratch's aim was then to be "heading for the hills where the air is fresh and clean" and  to cool out to the mountain top. The mighty Upsetter always got strong words. Words of wisdom.

Flip is LEE PERRY & FULL EXPERIENCE "Bionic rats" (also entitled "Super trap"), another great Upsetters rhythm with Aura Lewis, Candy McKenzie and Pamela Reed doing the backing vocal business for Jah Jah sent a super trap to capture the bionic rats.

Original JA Upsetter label from 1977.
