Description

I am running a sale of all my Perry stuff at the moment – for this week I am doing singles on labels he is closely associated with – upsetter, black art, perries etc. Most of these are Jamaican presses and as such are pretty poor sounding – if you have a lot of these you will know what I mean. If not just be clear that none of these would make the record collector description of excellent – where there is no recognisable surface noise – even the mint unplayed ones! As such the rating system used here is excellent is largely free of surface noise and quite clean, while a very good will have audible surface noise, but no jumps. There are various pluses or minuses between

This record is Lord creators Big Pussy Sally on Island records. The other side of this is an Upsetters version. This is classic black ark madness. It is essentially the male version of Big Cocky Wally and is very slack - this is almost calypso! Never released on CD, this one is a must ! The label is in good nick and is a dj promo copy, which is printed on the labels. The vinyl is excellent. Just ask if you need an audio clip- I send the entire track !

I will give reductions for postage of postage quotes for multiple items. Please get in touch for outside the UK. I recommend postal insurance, as I will not be responsible for things missing/damaged in the post PS see my other auctions
