Legend of the Spirit of Memphis- 40th Anniversary, released by Randy's Spiritual Record Co. (RS-1025) in Stereo in 1968 out of Gallatin, TN.

*Not only did the legendary Spirit of Memphis Quartet begin as a group in 1928, they became one of the greatest Gospel groups of the late 40's/early 50's Post-War Gospel era!  Simply put, Gospel music doesn't get any better than this LP celebrating the group's 40th anniversary.  Here they perfectly combine the rich, Post-War quartet style harmonies with a Soul Gospel musical backing.  Their vocal harmonies are as stunning and complex as it gets, combining the growling, deep, low vocals of Earl Malone with the sweet sweet soulful vocals of Jethro Bledsoe, Robert Reed and Fred Howard.  The music is anchored in drivin' electric guitar & drums, with some nice doses of bluesy licks & funky beats.  This is one-hell of a remarkable record.  You won't be disappointed.*

The thick Vinyl is visually-graded in VG+ condition.  When looked at under a very bright light, the record shows a very rich luster and a few, very light surface marks.

The Cover is graded in VG condition.  It is ever-so-slightly dirty and shows a fair amount of edge wear.  Overall, it still looks very very nice.

Shipping is calculated by ebay at the actual cost for you, the consumer. I don't charge any extra fees for material or handling.

If you buy many records from me, I can ship them all together in one box, and charge you the actual cost I pay at the post office.
