JOHN LENNON & YOKO ONO - 'UNFINISHED MUSIC NO.2: LIFE WITH THE LIONS'
1969 UK *1st PRESSING* LP
This rare & early 1st pressing was the 1st release on Apple's experimental Zapple label: ZAPPLE 01
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text, found on only very 1st pressings.
There is no tax/price code is present in the centre of either label.
Housed in a fully laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover.
Complete with its original printed inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: ZAPPLE 01 A-1 & ZAPPLE 01 B-1

Labels: EXCELLENT +
A clean & rich set with less than a handful of light spindle trails to each centre hole.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
Both surfaces are bright & glossy with no significant or major marks when viewed in strong daylight. There are a number of light, wispy hairlines visible directly beneath halogen light consistent with inner-sleeve removal and a few careful plays. Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.
Play: 1. EXCELLENT 2. VERY GOOD +
This copy has clealry recieved little play and there is no significanrt deterioration to the sound quality throughout. My careful playcheck at volume found no groovewear, heavy clicks or any other such significant audible faults. In fact, apart form a few light repeating clicks at the beginning of side 2, there is little else to fault here.
Cover
VERY GOOD
A strong & glossy example with some light handling & storage wear but no major faults. There is some toning around the edges ont he rear panel & light wear to the opening edges, but no further significant wear or damage.
Inner-sleeve
GOOD
Moderate handling & storagewear with some discolouration and wrinkling, but no writing, tears or splits.
