JOHN LENNON & YOKO ONO - 'TWO VIRGINS'
1968 UK 1st STEREO PRESSING
*SUPERB COPY*
This fine & rare 1968 stereo 1st pressing is on the UK dark green Apple/Track label: 613012 (SAPCOR 2)
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text and 'Apple Records..' rims.
There is no tax/price code is visible on either label.
Housed in a fully 'Technink' printed cover with the text on the 'rear' panel.
Complete with its original die-cut, matt black inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: SAPCOR 2A-1 & SAPCOR 2B-1
Stamper numbers: 1/R & 1/R

Visual: NEAR MINT
Both surfaces appear in pristine MINT condition in daylight, bearing just a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines under a halogen desk lamp.
There are no scratches, scuffs or other marking on either side which lie 100% flat on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.
Audio: NEAR MINT
The sound is 'as new' throughout.
Carefully listening at volume revealed no trace of any background noise/crackle, hiss or groove/peakwear distortion.
Hard to find better.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A fine example of this fragile cover with clean & white unyellowed panels which bear no 'thumbnails' or any other creasing.
The laminate is clean & intact on both sides with just a small area of laminate lift towards the spine and a slight disc impression, but no splits or tears.
There is a small bump to the upper left & lower right corner, but but both opening edges are in perfect, unworn condition.
Both seams and the un-worded spine are also in perfect condition with no stress or splits.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT PLUS
No splits or tears.
