The song ideas that spontaneously poured out of Lenny during the filming of “The Hunger Games 2” (2013), a survival action movie in which Lenny appeared as an actor, were as vivid as his initial impulses, and as soon as the filming was over, he returned to his home and studio in the Bahamas to begin recording the songs. The recording was done without any concept or excessive development of the songs, but rather, as inspiration struck, the band prioritized “spontaneity” to the extent that they had never done so before. Of course, almost all instruments (guitar, bass, drums, and keyboards) were played by Lenny himself, as in the past.
