VINYL = VG+ Record surfaces may show some signs of slight wear, but they don't affect the listening experience and are of a cosmetic nature only. I have cleaned and play-tested both sides of the record and it plays really well and still sounds great!

Recorded with vocalist Jennifer Warnes (who later cut the album Famous Blue Raincoat, a collection of Leonard Cohen compositions), Various Positions is a stunning return to form -- Cohen's strongest work since New Skin for the Old Ceremony. Cryptic and spartan, the set continues in the eclectic vein of recent efforts, but with greater clarity and focus, resulting in an intriguingly diffuse collection ranging from the Serge Gainsbourg-esque pop of "Dance Me to the End of Love" to the boozy, country-inflected "The Captain."It also features "Hallelujah", a song that was to brought to prominence to a new audience when brilliantly covered by Jeff Buckley, son of Tim, 10 years later, on his only solo album before his death, "Grace".
