Description
Mr. Spock’s Music From Outer Space is an album by the American actor most known for his role on NBC TV series Star Trek. It was released on the Dot Records label in April 1967. It reached #83 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart. The album capitalized on the popularity of Nimoy!s character on Star Trek. It captures many outer space elements , sci-fi narrations and space sound effects. Nimoy even sings two show tunes “ Where Is Love” and “Lost In The Stars”. The closing track “A Visit To A Sad Planet” is a spoken word piece that was released as a single , charting at #121 on Billboard. Great artifact for Trekkies on first press stereo copy in shrink from 1967.
