If you are looking at this you know that you are looking at one of the rarest/scarecest most sought after classical album ever. It doesn't get any more Holy Grail than this.
I have here an opportunity to own the rare Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto Paris Conservatoire Orchestra. Conducted by Constantine Silvestri on Torquoise/ Silver Columbia SAX 2323
Sleeve in excellent condition, no tears or rips. Triple fold back. The front has minor corner scuffs and has some laminate lifting. The reverse has some foxing and some stain blotching. Lovely readable spine.
The vinyl.
Side 1 is visually nr mint Some very fine hairline marks. So would grade EX As you can see by the pictures that it still holds its original sheen beautifully
Side 2 is vg. It does have a visible scratch that goes all the way up from start to finish. Otherwise this would be visually near mint too. You have to really look but I have to be honest, it is there. I have played it all the way through and it plays well on my Technics, I have also played it on a Rega 3. Plays well too. But does have a constant tic that happens
On my Trio kenwood......plays perfect.
I have to be honest here........ If you are playing on a top of the range player it will definitely pick up the scratch. If you are bidding because you want to own this album and play it on a Technics...... Bid away
I have seen these sell for mega money without an explanation
I have to be totally honest with you
But nevertheless it still holds its original sheen nicely
The rarity of the album is really where it is at. These are like the Holy Grail.
