Estate find.
Original 1958 stereo issue, black & gold label, deep groove, plain paper inner sleeve.
When Contemporary Records first began issuing stereo LPs in 1958 they created a separate label & called it Stereo Records In Association with Contemporary Records. They soon stopped this procedure & all titles originally issued on Stereo Records were eventually reissued on Contemporary Records. The audiophile qualities of the Stereo Records pressings are superior to any later pressings.
The Leroy Vinnegar Sextet, with Gerald Wilson, Teddy Edwards, Victor Feldman, Carl Perkins & Tony Bazley.
Record is VG+ to EX: VERY SHINY & CLEAN with just a few isolated faintly audible short shallow scratches + a couple superficial inaudible visual only scuff marks which don't affect play. No spindle wear. Plays Great!!!
Cover is VG: scrapes on front cover; bottom seam partially split; minor edge, corner & ring wear; otherwise clean & sturdy.
No reserve.
