Description
Les Baxter's great 1958 Space Escapade LP. This is a Wax Love Records reissue from 2018, catalog # WLV82108. It was made in the EU and limited to 500 pressings. It is sealed in the original factory shrink, never opened, never played.
I found this in a local record store which has since gone out of business. It was displayed on the wall with other "rare" records. They had 2 copies and I bought both of them, as I had not seen this reissue before. I don't know if I will sell my second copy.
Interestingly, the spine printing shows "Les Escapade" instead of "Space Escapade". Maybe this mistake makes them more valuable, I don't know.
This reissue sells for over $30 plus shipping on discogs but I'm starting with a very reasonable opening bid. You'll also spend about 3 times that if you try for the original pressing and it will probably have clicks and pops and a warn cover.
