Description

Les Diaboliques Disco Danse Diabolique. Select. S-398.250. Canadian Pressing.

This incredible lp features El Chicles under the name Les Diaboliques. Includes several killer funk tracks, full of tasty drums, basslines and keys. I recommend “The Snake’, ‘Chicken Curry’ and ‘Malaria’.  This lp was also released as Chicken Curry and His Pop Percussion Orchestra, ‘Stereo Discoteque’, MFP.

 Condition

Cover: VG+. Wear to seams, no splits. Tiny saw cut to upper spine. Very minor wear front and back, creasing at corners. Plain innersleeve. A solid, good-looking cover.

Record: VG++. Excellent shine, vinyl looks virtually flawless, with the odd hairline scuff. Clean labels. Very minor surface noise in places, not intrusive. I suspect a professional clean would improve the sound even further.

 Track Listing:

Side A: Librium, Grand Prix, Last Tango In Paris, Drums Go Nuts, I’d Love You To Want Me.

Side B: The Snake, Chicken Curry, C’est Une Belle Histoire, Malaria Fever, Ghetto Groove.
