This auction is for an original 45 RPM record titled Lazy Moon by Les Tasher, with the flip side If You Got. It's on the Hollywood International label, and the number is 45-Int-104. My research shows Les was from Canada, and that he recorded on Canadian and American record labels. In addition, he also went by the name of Les Tasher And His Rebel Rocks. There are also other releases of Lazy moon with different B sides of the record. I personally think If You Got is the better song, and should have been the A side. Also included is the original picture sleeve with a picture of Les and the names of the songs on the front, and is completely blank on the back side.
I'm not a record dealer, but I've been buying and collecting records since I was 10 years old in 1963 (yes, I'm a geezer). I'm selling this record since it's just too rare and valuable to risk putting it in one of my jukeboxes. I'm no expert on grading, but I'll do my best to honestly describe the condition. The labels on both sides show no wear or fading, and have no writing or tags on them. On the vinyl, I don't visibly see any scratches or imperfections. The record lays nice and flat, with no signs of warpage. I would guess the condition to be excellent to mint minus. The pic sleeve has no tears, and has no writing or tags on it, but has some yellowing, and some very noticeable wrinkles on it.
Playing this record on my 1970's era home stereo set up, the record plays great, with no noticeable flaws.
