Lester Bowie Numbers 1&2 (Nessa N-1) stereo
Bowie (tpt, flh, kelp h, steer h) with Joseph Jarman (as, ss, cl, bsn, bells); Roscoe Mitchell (as, ss, cl, fl, rcrdr, grd, bells, gong); and Malachi Favors (b, kz).
Recorded, in Chicago, in august 1967.
This Issue: On front cover: White top half with artist's name and album title. "nessa n-1" in upper-left corner. Bottom two thirds has Roscoe Mitchell orange-background painting. Back cover has three columns of text, with personnel, track titles, and recording information in first column. Terry Martin liner note spread over the three columns. 5404 N. Kimball, Chicago address.
Center labels have black-and-white Nessa logo in top half, with teal background. Bottom half has white background with "STEREO" left of center hole and "N-1" right of hole. Artist's name is below, with tune title and running time.
Label Runout:

Condition of Record: NM. Side A played once; side B not at all. Completely clean and clear record; not even any dust or factory-made smears. Original quality paper sleeve is type with inner plastic lining.
Album front cover: All text, artwork immaculate; a little ringwear, top, with a few tiny black specks. Lower-left corner has slight bend. A handful of tiny nicks at open end of album. Back cover also has a little ringwear, top; minute amount, bottom. All text clean, no marks or smudges of any kind. Lower-right corner bent. Spine very fine, corners not bumped at all. Horizontal edges, top and bottom: No shelfwear at all.

I'm an independent seller divesting his own record collection. I'm not selling from a store or warehouse, with multiple copies of titles, or on behalf of a professional collector.
Shipping: Ebay requires seller to indicate shipping methods and other particulars, then automatically inserts the cost at the top of the listing. Buyer will pay amount as determined by destination, by shipping method he chooses, and by required insurance (see: below); I don't gouge the price to make more profit. (USPS Media Mail is cheapest; I will provide prices for US Priority, or for FedEx or UPS ground, if requested.)
Insurance is mandatory on shipments to US addresses: The final price of the item determines the amount of insurance required. Please wait till I inform you of your total cost prior to submitting payment. It and not Ebay's stated cost is the amount to be paid.
**For winners outside US**: USPS shipping options are International Priority and International Express. Both methods include insurance but only Express provides a return receipt. (Check USPS's website for shipping prices.) If you want a private-company shipper, I will quote you the cost at end of auction. First-Class-Package service, which doesn't include insurance, is an option; the shipping cost will be lower, but if your item doesn't arrive you have no recourse. The risk is yours.
Packing: The LP will be carefully placed in a standard, cardboard LP box. Please indicate any special instructions.
Payment: I accept Paypal. I also accept cash in cases of in-person deliveries.
Returns: Returns will be accepted in cases of error in description.
