Description
On offer is the very rare numbered limited edition 22-LP Box Set (#291 of 500) "PRES BOX 01-22: LESTER YOUNG: Live and Private Recordings in Chronological Order" complete with discographical book and additional bonus 45 rpm record. This must-have collection for Pres fans was a limited edition pressing made in Italy in 1987, including at the time, the complete non-studio recorded output of Lester Young.
All the records are near mint (NM), being rarely, if ever played, and the booklet is still new. The box, as with all the few sets that still exist, because of very poor design, is very good (VG) with general shelf wear and the expected hinged spine/side of the box showing splitting at the joints. However the box is firmly intact and there is no box material that is missing. The matte-finished front and back covers of the box are quite clean and unmarked. Overall an above average example of this box.
