Description

This is the original deep-groove pressing of Lester Young's self-titled record on the yellow trumpeter labels of Norgran MGN-1022. The playing surface is in near-new condition with a high luster; perhaps played once. The David Stone Martin cover shows light ring wear around the center and edges of the front, as well as tape residue in the center of the bottom and top seams and at the lower right corner; clean 6" split along the top seam, at the opening, 1 ½" split and rubbing on the bottom seam, at the opening; clean and unmarked, front and back. Personnel includes Jesse Drakes, Gildo Mahones, John Ore, and Connie Kay.
