Description

This is the original deep-groove pressing of Lester Young The President on the yellow trumpeter labels of Norgran MGN-10005. The playing surface appears to be mint, with a high luster, but there are six light tics at the opening of Track 4, Side B ("Pete's Café"). The cover is bright and clean throughout, with very light rubbing to the front and the seams. Personnel includes Oscar Peterson, Ray Brown, Barney Kessel, and J.C. Heard.
