Description
Lightnin' Hopkins, "Lightnin' Hopkins Sings The Blues", Imperial LP 9186, 1962 first press monaural copy.
Vinyl - VG : Several light scratches and paper scuffs that cause minor background crackling in parts and an occasional pop. Play graded with no skips and good sound quality. Labels are excellent and the vinyl retains bright gloss.
Cover - G : Top and bottom seams are completely split. Spine shows major wear, but is not split. Front and back covers show well. There are 2 crease marks on the front at the bottom right and minor rub marks on the back cover with 2 crease marks at the upper right corner (see photos).
This is probably the rarest of Lightnin' Hopkins 3 Imperial LP's. It is a decent player with good sound quality. The cover shows well in spite of the flaws listed. The album will be shipped in a plastic insert to protect the cover.
