DESCRIPTION:  Elvis Presley.  LPM-1254.  This is the first RCA Elvis record and the back of this cover says, "Elvis Presley, RCA Victor's new recording artise, has zoomed into big-time entertainment practically overnight."

WHAT IS THIS RECORD?

One of the harder records from Elvis to find.  It contains these songs:

1.)  Blue Suede Shoes

2.)  I'm Counting on You

3.)  I Got a Woman

4.)  One-Sided Love Affair

5.)  I Love You Because

6.)  Just Because

7.)  Tutti Frutti

8.)  Tryin' to Get to You

9.)  I'm Gonna Sit Right Down and Cry

10.)  I'll Never Let You Go

11.)  Blue Moon

12.)  Money Honey

THE COVER:  Light pink--I believe.  (Numbers in trail-off vinyl [below] may help you ID this.)    I am NOT an Elvis expert, however.  Please see my picture.  Green letters spell out PRESLEY.  Upper right corner says, "A New Orthophonic high fidelity recording."

CONDITION OF COVER:  Very good to very good plus.  Spine is nice (see pictures.)  Hardly any "ring wear" as you can see.  Small split on top right corner and middle of top; bottom of cover has some cracking, not too deep; creasing on bottom right (see pic.)  Colors are brilliant.  Back and front are both quality sides as you can see. Three of the corners are still pretty sharp; the one by the "little dog" is a little soft--it is the one with the split.

CONDITION OF VINYL:  Depends how you grade.  I give it a NM- or possibly a NM.  There is a nice mirror shine.  No scratches.  Minor skuffing in a spot or two--from being taken out of the sleeve.

VINYL MARKS:  Side One in the trail off vinyl has this number:  G2 PP1282-6S; Side Two in the trail off vinyl has this number:  G2 PP1283 5

CONDITION OF SLEEVE:  Very good, as shown.  The bottom has the wrinkle in the paper which usually means that the record was rarely taken out.

RARITY:   Hard to find.

RECORD HISTORY:  Estate auction.  The children said that their mother liked Liberace, Johnny Mathis, Sinatra, Dean Martin, and in 1956 decided to try the "new singer" and she purchased this record.  They say that she played it one time and did not approve of the music.  She refused to throw it away, however, because he was from Mississippi (she was, also) and she kept it tucked away, between her other records.

POSTAGE/HANDLING:  $4.00 media.  I will wrap it snugly--check out my feedback on shipping/packing.  I LOVE TO TAPE!   Price includes insurance.  You may opt for priority if you wish.

QUESTIONS:  Please email before bidding.

OTHER:  Ships 48 hours after payment.

And remember, unlike many eBay sellers, I will refund your purchase price if you are not happy.  (Postage not refunded.)  Selling since 1997--100% positive feedback rating!
