Description

LIGHTNIN' HOPKINS - DOWN HOME BLUES
Label: Stateside Year: 1964 Mono
On offer and in very nice condition is an original pressing of Lightnin' Hopkins 'Down Home Blues' on the very collectible green and silver Stateside label. This is a great album and gets ever more difficult to find in good condition.
The Vinyl is graded EX- on side 1 due to a 2cm light needle scratch that does not effect play. Side 2 is EX. Vinyl on both sides is very clean and bright, played a handful of times and very well looked after.
The glossy laminated front cover is EX- or better, no damage, writing or splits etc... light wear to opening corners and a couple of small creases on spine edge, the spine is clean and strong. The flip-back reverse is very nice and clean with some light signs of ageing.
Generic 60's poly-lined inner sleeve is Ex- condition.
All told a very nice copy of a classic Lightnin Hopkins LP on a classic British label.
