Description

Prestige Bluesville 1019, “Lightnin’” with Lightnin’ Hopkins, vocals and guitar. Original DG vinyl plays mostly at NM with virtually no background sound, but there are light pops on four revolutions on Side A and a bit of light static on the opening tracks of Side B. The heavy laminated jacket has strong seams, but there are a couple of breaks in the laminate on the spine (1/2” or 2 cm) and on the top seam (1-1/2” or 4 cm), at center; there is light corner wear on two corners, heavier wear on a third at top left; jacket back is basically clean but age-toned and has an owner’s stamp at upper right; there are no writing or no bends. Songs are “Automobile Blues”, “You Better Watch Yourself”, “Mean Old Frisco”, “Shinin’ Moon”, “Come Back Baby”, “Thinkin’ About An Old Friend”, “The Walkin’ Blues”, “Back to New Orleans”, “Katie Mae”, and “Down Here Baby”. Shipping is $4.00 media mail, $8.00 priority mail within the continental U.S.; $14.00 regular airmail to the U.K., Europe, Japan, Korea, and Australia; elsewhere inquire. Additional LPs in a single package are $1.00 per LP domestic, $2.00 elsewhere. For overseas shipments, registered mail for $11.75 extra is strongly recommended. (Last year, a package to the Netherlands was lost in shipment, resulting in disappointment on both sides.) Many old records are now practically antiques and should be treated that way. This LP will be packaged with the record inside an inner sleeve but outside the jacket; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides. It is designed thick enough not to be bent in transit and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window. More than two LPs will be mailed together in a heavy Bags Unlimited pizza-style box. Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped.
