This is the original Van Gelder-stamped pressing of Lightnin’ Hopkins “Smokes Like Lightning” on the blue and silver labels of Bluesville BVLP 1070. The playing surface appears to be in new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The coated cover is clean and bright throughout; rubbing on the front. 1963 Prestige illustrated one-sheet included. Personnel include Spider Kilpatrick, Buster Pickens, and Billy Bizor.
