Lightnin’ Hopkins on Bluesville SP101
This is the rare RVG-stamped alternate pressing of Lightnin’ Hopkins “Last Night Blues” on the blue and silver labels of Bluesville BVLP SP 101. The playing surface is MINT, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The coated cover is immaculate throughout, still in the original shrink wrap, with just a small ding at the opening corners. This record was also issued as Bluesville BVLP 1029 and is not listed in Ruppli’s Prestige discography.
Personnel include Sonny Terry, Leonard Gaskin, and Belton Evans.
