Description
The Lightnin' Hopkins-Texas Blues album, released in the 1960s by Folkway Records under the Le Chant du Monde label, features traditional Texas blues music performed by the renowned artist. This LP, in a 12" vinyl format with a full-range fidelity level, includes tracks composed by Lightnin' Hopkins and sung in English. With a runtime of approximately 30 minutes, this album is a must-have for fans of blues music from the 1960s era. The 3-part sleeve design adds to the appeal of this classic vinyl record. Good collective item, many other Lightnin' records available, I have some more I think.
This recording was obviously subbed out to the French producers by Smithsonian Folkway Records. The liner notes are in French, I don't read French. Research just says these are a collection of Lightnin' songs from the 1960s. Could be mono or stereo, I didn't play it recently, not set up for that right now. Interesting cardboard packing, though worn as photos show.
