LP - Bell Ringer

 

1965 Excello Records LP-8004

 

You are bidding on one of the most beautiful and rarest blues LP records in existence!  This is an original microgroove 1965 U.S. pressing on the orange Excello Label, LP-8004 from the Nashboro Record Co., Nashville, Tennessee. 

 

This is the original cover with pink at the bottom, a darker shade of pink at the top, a drawing of a bell on the left side. "LIGHTNIN' SLIM'S' in white at the top, with "BELL RINGER" below it in black. Later covers were black with swirling yellow lines.

 

The original thick cardboard sleeve is in excellent + condition with just a slight crease in the top left hand corner and a tiny scuff in the bottom left hand corner. There are no other marks or scuffs.

 

The record is in very good condition with a couple of surface marks which do not affect the sound or detract from the quality of the record apart from Side 2 Track 2 where there is one audible click.
