Description
Lightnin’ Slim’s Mono LP “BELL RINGER” on EXCELLO #8004. This 33 RPM lp has been properly stored in my fathers collection. Protected by a PVC plastic sleeve the cardboard outer sleeve is in Ex condition with only slight rub marks in the upper and lower parts of pink. The record grade is EE+ with a few very light eyelash marks which do not affect sound quality. I play test all of my father’s records now with a brand new Audio Technics AT LP120x through Klipsche speakers to ensure audio quality before grading. This record plays loud and clear! The vinyl is etched EX 8004-A SM45 and EX 8004-B 45SM. This LP is very well preserved and looks to have been played only a handful of times. LP’s don’t come around in this condition often! Released in 1965 this is a classic representation of Lightnin’s Louisiana Blues sound on a much less fragile 45 or 78. The record size is 12" and the number of audio channels is Mono. The album features the title track “Bell Ringer” and is a great addition to any vinyl record collection.
I ship worldwide via Ebay International and USPS Priority flat rate within the US. Due to the high number of theft and loss the tracking numbers provided with these services are crucial. I recommend insurance as I cannot be responsible for lost or damaged records. That said I pack all records professionally in record specific boxes with a padding process I upgraded from just traditional cardboard squares alone. If you use Popsike etc for reference make sure you read the listings for condition, zoom in on the record for visual condition and view the history. The most recent sale does not necessarily set the bar. There is a night and day difference between V and E condition!! Especially the extremely rare E+. I grade conservatively and there are many E and even E+ records. I stand by my father’s collection, if you are not satisfied with my play test grade, I will make it right. Just be aware they have been play tested on good equipment so if a record doesn’t sound good on a $10 player with a worn out needle….actually if you are playing records on a cheap player with a worn out needle, please don’t buy my fathers records.
